The Walt Disney Company is a global leader in entertainment and media, and they are seeking a Digital Operations Intern for the summer of 2026. The role involves managing content availability and metadata, supporting operational challenges in the content supply chain, and performing data analysis to enhance the consumer experience across Disney's brands.
Responsibilities
Perform operational review, validation, and publication of streaming content availability and content metadata to Disney+ in support of a large project.
Perform day-to-day technical operations support, including triage and troubleshooting of operational issues, run point on escalations and resolve requests. Where not possible, escalate and coordinate with product, engineering, or external vendors.
Create and maintain operational reporting that shows overall project status and perform data analysis to understand data issues, gaps, and bottlenecks as well as help identify pre-sunrise media and metadata errors including JIRA and remediation metrics.

Required
Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively present requirements, challenges and solutions across internal and external teams and partners
Ability to deliver incredibly high quality results in a heavy multitasking environment with strong attention to details and focus on data quality and accuracy
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Productivity applications experience (MS-Office, MS Excel, MS Teams, Google Docs, Google Sheets etc.)
A basic understanding and/or experience with data analytic tools and languages (SQL, etc.)
Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.
Experience with XMLs, Web, JavaScript
Currently enrolled undergraduate student in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree preferably in Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program AND returning to school the semester/quarter following the internship OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from M-F, 40 hours each week for the entire program duration: May/June - August/September 2026 (12 weeks)
Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
