As an Information Security Risk Management Intern, you will support the bank’s Business Resumption and Risk Management programs, assisting with business continuity and risk assessment activities while gaining practical experience in technology and security alignment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and recovery plans to support operational resilience.
Participate in recovery exercises, analyze results, and assist business units in meeting recovery objectives.
Support disaster recovery planning by coordinating response efforts during simulated or actual interruptions.
Assist with risk and control testing to ensure IT systems meet recovery and compliance standards.
Evaluate the effectiveness of controls protecting key technology assets and data.
Collaborate with corporate teams to enhance continuity planning software, perform basic configurations, and provide training.
Analyze risk trends and prepare reports or assessments to inform leadership decisions.
Contribute to records management and ongoing risk program development efforts.
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Data Management, Information Security, or a related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work within 30 miles of Green Bay or Milwaukee, WI.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship).
Preferred
Up to 2 years of relevant academic or professional experience in technology, security, or risk management.
Familiarity with business continuity, IT controls, or risk analysis processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and an interest in learning new digital tools.
