The Analytics Products Summer Intern Program offers an opportunity to support the asset class team in analyzing competitors and emerging client needs, while gaining valuable exposure and training across the MSCI business.
Responsibilities
Research and develop an influencer mapping and industry engagement dashboard, studying the key trends from academia, consultant, financial technology providers and active managers in the quantitative investment space
Create actionable insights from analysis of sales coverage and client notes, including determining key trends, use cases and key reasons for wins and losses.
Collaborate with segment strategy teams to identify organizational gaps across client segments, including asset managers, asset owners and wealth managers.
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree (in progress), in a relevant subject, e.g., economics, finance, financial engineering, mathematics.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly driven work ethic, deep attention to detail and good team player
Strong analytical, data driven and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under time constraints
Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights
Preferred
Proficiency in coding with Python, SQL, or similar languages
