New York Life is a financial services company seeking interns for their Technology, Data, AI & Ventures Summer Internship Program. The role involves supporting projects that enhance operational effectiveness and collaborating with teams to improve processes and analyze data.
Responsibilities
Focus on supporting projects that drive continuous improvement, standardization, and operational effectiveness across technology teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to redesign processes, document improvements, and support the adoption of shared frameworks, tools, and best practices
Analyze data and trends to inform decision-making, create dashboards and reports to monitor adoption and performance, and identify opportunities to improve operations through automation and enablement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Interest in financial services and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the 11-week Summer Internship Program (May to August)
Able to work in a hybrid environment, with three days per week on-site in New York City
Passionate about technology, data, AI, and innovation, with a collaborative mindset and a desire to learn and make an impact
Authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program
Not authorized to work under optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT)
