Hubbell Incorporated provides critical infrastructure solutions for utility and electrical applications. The 2027 Summer Intern will improve SAP master data quality and governance across manufacturing locations by analyzing data accuracy, developing metrics, benchmarking site performance, and recommending continuous improvement strategies. The role also provides experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, SAP S/4HANA, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
Applying skills and knowledge learned in the classroom to on-the-job experiences
Working on comprehensive, value-added projects
Working in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment
Developing technical skills specific to your major
Providing opportunities for professional development by building relationships and learning about other parts of the business
Providing a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program
Gaining knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location
Gaining experience in planning and organizational skills
Working on challenging robust projects that will provide practical experience
Assisting with process improvement
Managing multiple projects with overlapping tasks and working independently with minimal supervision
Providing support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required)
Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
Ability to analyze processes, identify gaps and inconsistencies, document findings, and develop practical recommendations to improve data quality, planning, inventory management, and operational performance
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, materials management, planning, purchasing, or process improvement is a plus
Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, MRP, inventory management, purchasing, or manufacturing operations preferred
