Sanofi is a healthcare company that provides treatments and the protection of life-saving vaccines. They are seeking an enthusiastic intern to support data management practices and enhance digital tools used by scientists in the mRNA Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities
Assist in the review and analysis of current data practices within lab-based departments, identifying areas for improvement.
Support the development and implementation of data pipelines to ensure seamless integration of diverse data sources.
Develop and improve dashboards and visualizations to enhance data interpretation and decision-making processes.
Utilize digital tools and data analytics to support R&D initiatives and streamline workflows.
Work on lab equipment connectivity and ensure seamless integration between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems.
Collaborate with senior Scientific Data Transformation Leaders to enhance data quality, accessibility, and integrity according to Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability (FAIR) principles.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by Spring 2027.
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Must have permanent US work authorization.
Preferred
A strong interest in data management, biopharmaceutical R&D, and digital transformation strategies.
Basic understanding of FAIR data principles and data standardization processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with fluency in English; French is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, multinational team environment.
