Indiana University Health is an academic medical center and comprehensive healthcare system. They are seeking interns to provide financial management support and oversight, with opportunities to engage in various financial teams and gain exposure to the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data for interpretation, reporting, and modeling
- Project management for financial operations process improvement
- Monitor and process general ledger, payroll, and patient activities for patient costing
- Interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy
- Gather expertise around Excel and PowerBI to support ongoing analytics initiatives
Qualification
Required
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams.
- Ability to manage project logistics and prepare project materials.
Preferred
- Computer Science or Informatics degree preferred.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Interest in healthcare industry and financial management.
