Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated is a Fortune 500 company focused on life- and health-related solutions. They are seeking a Summer Intern in Actuarial to assist in implementing actuarial models, analyzing data, and enhancing processes while gaining exposure to the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and/or maintaining actuarial models.
Manipulate, summarize, and/or analyze large amounts of data.
Assist in developing, enhancing, and automating processes.
Coordinate and communicate with other RGA departments.
Qualification
Required
Progress toward completion of Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Math, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Statistics or related field.
Intermediate PC and technical skills.
Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
Takes initiative and is accountable.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to balance detail with department goals and objectives.
Advanced oral and written communication skills.
Complex analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and participate in department projects.
Preferred
At least one Actuarial Exam passed.
