Fifth Third Bank is offering a Summer Internship Program in Bond Capital Markets for college students. This 11-week program provides hands-on experience in banking operations and aims to develop future organizational leaders through exposure to multiple business areas and professional networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
Ability to find, research and assess financial information
Strong financial analysis skills, specifically credit based and corporate finance expertise
Broad understanding of Investment Grade and High Yield bond mechanics
Broad understanding of public debt markets and willingness to expand knowledge base and develop expertise in markets
Develop familiarity with broad economic and market trends
Assist with database maintenance
Preparation of pitch materials and market updates for client meetings
Participate in accounting, business and legal due diligence calls for underwritten debt offerings
Work cross-collaboratively with Leveraged Finance, Corporate & Investment Banking, and other team members on presentations and projects
Build a network of colleagues within firm and externally to strengthen career
Qualification
Required
Pursuing Bachelor's degree with strong financial or business background
Graduation date between December 2027 - May 2028 ONLY
Minimum 3.3 GPA required
Excellent presentation skills, both oral and written
Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial analysis, corporate finance and financial markets
Good working knowledge of financial modeling and valuation
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to draw conclusions based on financial data
Strong presentation and organization skills
