Walmart is seeking an undergraduate intern to join its Corporate Global Audit Services team. The intern will work on strategically relevant projects involving finance, accounting, governance, IT, or operational risk, participate in the full audit project life cycle, and present audit results and recommendations to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Gain an understanding of the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of our business
Become aware of associate needs and participate in discussions to address identified gaps
Manage key milestones and deliverables related to their assigned internship project
Take initiative, remain bold in their ideas, and actively participate in all discussions
Conduct internal and external research/benchmarking as appropriate
Partner with other associates across teams/functions to identify solutions and present recommendations
Build their network of professionals across the enterprise and receive direct exposure to several leaders
Receive support and guidance from a host of individuals including mentors and a dedicated Program Manager
Qualification
Required
Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2026 for undergrad students graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
A successful candidate will not require sponsorship from Walmart for authorization to work now or in the future
• Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program currently
