State Street is one of the largest custodian banks and asset managers in the world, and they are seeking undergraduate students for their Corporate Tax Internship. The role involves supporting the tax department in various compliance and provision tasks while developing analytical skills in tax compliance and accounting.
Responsibilities
Supporting the Corporate Tax department (Compliance and Provision teams)
Provide assistance with long-term analytical research projects with various members of the department, providing a well-rounded exposure to the tax department as a whole
Provide support to provision team for monthly, quarterly and year-end close procedures
Work with other interns to ensure daily tasks and requests are completed
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled undergraduate student
Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors planning to pursue a masters preferred
Accounting or Big Data Major preferred
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills
Ability to communicate project status to ensure internal deadlines are met
Interest in learning new things and being a part of a cohesive team
