They are seeking a motivated Internal Audit intern to assist in report writing, conducting research, and analyzing data, providing valuable experience for students pursuing a career in accounting or a related field.
Responsibilities
Provides temporary or seasonal assistance to a department or group within the company to work through a time-bound project or business cycle such as tax season
Assist on SOX404 projects: updating process descriptions & process walkthroughs, & performing transactional testing
Assist on audit related projects during audit planning and fieldwork phases of the audit
Learning Internal Audit-based procedures and assisting Audit Managers with compiling/completing testing documentation and corrective action plan tracking
Demonstrates acquired knowledge and skills to resolve or recommend solutions for a wide range of tasks or issues
Qualification
Required
Working toward a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Some internship or professional experience in accounting/audit
