Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking motivated and ambitious college students for their Summer 2026 Internship Program at their Corporate Headquarters in Glens Falls, New York. The Indirect Lending Intern will gain hands-on experience in the Indirect Lending Department, assisting with loan documents, funding dealer contacts, and participating in professional development activities.
Responsibilities
Review loan documents from dealer network for accuracy and completeness
Disburse funds to dealers in accordance with departmental expectations
Complete the lien filling process and manually file as appropriate
Communicate, under the direction of management, with dealerships to resolve missing or incomplete document issues
Review processes, identify opportunities for efficiency, and make recommendations
Work with Consumer Lending Data and Analytics team on indirect projects including management of rate sheets and forms on DealerTrack and Route One, Indirect charge-off analysis, implantation of new LOS, and improving data to graphical/chart presentation for analysis
Attend and participate in team meetings to understand planning and decision-making processes, gain insights into team dynamics and exposure to various HR functions and organizational processes
Attend a continuing education event, branch visit, and participate in a community service opportunity to promote corporate social responsibility
Attend weekly meetings to collaborate with interns from other departments within the company to share knowledge, build power skills, and share experiences in the program
Participate in presentation at conclusion of program, showcasing your learning and contributions to the Executive Leadership team
Qualification
Required
College students who are eager to learn and take initiative in a professional setting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher pursuing a degree in Business or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to effectively learn and utilize department specific systems and software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to take initiative and prioritize multiple tasks and projects; consistently meet established deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidentially, clearly, professionally, and confidently with internal partners, management, and other stakeholders
