The Boyd Group is one of North America's largest operators of collision repair centers, and they are seeking a Finance Intern to join their Corporate Finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience in audit support, financial reporting, and corporate accounting projects, providing valuable exposure to the financial operations of a large, publicly traded company.
Responsibilities
Gain exposure to multiple areas of finance for a broad learning experience
Assist with audit preparation and documentation
Review and organize financial reports and data
Support reconciliations and verify data accuracy
Contribute to diverse accounting and financial reporting projects
Collaborate with the finance team to meet key internal deadlines
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting or Finance
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with financial data
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
Professional, self-driven, and accountable
Preferred
Previous office or administrative experience is a plus
Business students (especially those from the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba) are encouraged to apply
Interest in corporate audit, reporting, or operational finance
Exposure to a public company finance environment
