They are seeking two Part-Time/Temporary interns for the Children's Fund to assist with the Holiday Gift program, which distributes gifts to low-income and foster youth. The role involves managing inventory, scheduling, community engagement, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
Manage and stock inventory of toys in the warehouse
Manage scheduling with donors and establish good working relationships with both internal and external staff
Work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Create working relationships with the community
Conduct data entry and inventory tracking in Microsoft Excel
Organizing toys for pick up and manage donations delivered
Assist with lifting/ moving items in our warehouse
Sorting through items donated and tracking incoming donations
Delivering items for Adopt-A Family program
Assist with managing volunteers
Some minimal administrative office work
Communicate efficiently and professionally with staff and volunteers
Assist with record keeping of incoming holiday drive verification forms
Create promotional material for the Holiday Drive
Qualification
Required
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience with Microsoft programs
Good communication skills
Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once
Must be willing to work some weekends/evenings if needed
Attention to detail
Must be able to work in person
