Parsons Corporation is a leader in the civil engineering industry, seeking an Audit Intern to support the Hudson Tunnel Program for Summer 2026. This internship offers an opportunity to develop skills in internal audit and compliance while working with a team of infrastructure experts.
Responsibilities
Assist with internal audit and compliance reviews related to project and business processes
Help test controls, gather supporting documentation, and perform basic data analytics tasks
Support preparation of audit workpapers, summaries, and draft observations
Participate in meetings with project and functional teams to follow up on audit-related questions
Assist in tracking action items, documenting process flows, and updating audit files and logs
Help review policies, procedures, and project documentation for consistency with applicable standards and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (such as Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics)
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interest in auditing, risk, compliance, and/or large infrastructure or transportation projects
Attention to detail, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a professional environment
