Camden Property Trust is seeking an Asset Management Intern to assist with asset management and reporting functions for existing assets. The role involves working closely with Operations and Facilities/Construction to support departmental needs and gain insights into on-site operations and capital expenditure management.
Responsibilities
Measure the effectiveness of capital improvement/rehab programs
Help to prepare, assemble, and distribute various ad hoc reports and presentations
Create, maintain, and interpret financial data
Reconcile and report on various asset management initiatives across the Camden portfolio
Participate in department initiatives and special projects
Qualification
Required
Must be a student currently enrolled in a Finance, Real Estate or Accounting program; Master's program preferred
Sales, customer service, and management minded individual with attention to detail is required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines and workload
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Master's program preferred
