They are seeking an undergraduate intern to participate in real estate transactions within the Real Estate Debt team, providing opportunities for financial analysis, market research, and investment committee memoranda development.
Responsibilities
New loan originations across all CRE product types;
Acquisitions of legacy loans, CMBS and other forms of public and private debt;
Restructurings;
Recapitalizations.
Financial analysis and modeling;
Market research;
Competitive analysis;
Development of investment committee memoranda;
Assistance in the due diligence and execution of transactions;
Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.
Qualification
Required
Outstanding financial modeling, analytical and presentation skills.
Competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting and finance.
Outstanding initiative and strong work ethic.
Demonstrate non-linear thinking.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks.
Collaborative, team-oriented with strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from a top university or college.
Preferred
Prior internship in financial services strongly preferred.
