Roche is a global healthcare company dedicated to advancing science and ensuring access to healthcare. They are seeking a Summer Intern to assist in financial analysis, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to financial reporting and process optimization.
Responsibilities
Assist in financial analysis and forecasting in expense, headcount, inventory and capital expenditure to support strategic decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for budgeting and planning purposes
Conduct research on market trends, industry competitors, and emerging opportunities to support financial analysis
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and documentation
Contribute to the optimization of financial processes and systems
Collaborate with senior finance professionals to learn and apply financial principles and best practices
Support ad-hoc finance projects as assigned, providing valuable contributions to the team
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student / completed at least 2 years of college/university)
Required majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Growth-minded, curious learner that finds accomplishment in dealing with reduction of complexity, simplification and unexplored paths
