JPMorganChase is one of the world's oldest and largest financial institutions, and they are seeking motivated individuals for their Global Finance & Business Management Analyst Program. As a Summer Analyst, you will collaborate with professionals to influence strategic business decisions while gaining hands-on experience in financial control and reporting.

Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of the Firm’s books and records, with an emphasis on reconciliation of the general ledger, risk management systems and infrastructure controls across the Firm.
Design, implement and execute end-to-end processes supporting U.S. Regulatory Reporting including Consolidated, Capital, Standalone and CCAR/DFAST/ICAAP reporting, Regulatory Reporting Policy and training and exam management.
Ensure that the Firm’s Legal Entity Control Standards are enforced, and that proper governance and oversight over financial statements exists at a legal entity level.
Facilitate key controls such as financial statement oversight/reporting, analytical reviews, and general ledger controls.
Maintain a strong and consistent control environment across Firmwide Finance, promoting early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and valuation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.
Contribute to programs that are large scale and comprised of multiple projects and work streams.
Drive initiatives across line of business or firm-wide agendas for implementation of new regulations, standards or policies.

Qualification

Required

Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
A well-rounded academic background with an interest in financial management, data analysis, and accounting
Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency

Preferred

Preferred minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
Working knowledge of data analytics, visualization tools, programming language tools, etc. (such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc)
Intermediate Excel Skills (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Index Match)
Relevant internship experience and leadership in school or community organizations
