M&T Bank provides banking, investment, insurance, and mortgage financial services, and they are seeking Summer Interns for their Finance, First Line Risk program. Interns will participate in projects that accelerate career growth and gain exposure to various departments while building necessary skills for success.
Responsibilities
Complete duties and responsibilities of an entry-level professional nature specific to assigned area of the Bank.
Ensure activities adhere to established internal policies and external regulations as applicable.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
